Guide to Handling Flagged Filings
Instructions
Follow these steps to review and resubmit a flagged submission in the Broker Portal. Each step is grouped for clarity and ease. To find and open a flagged filing, here are two options:
Option 1: From the Dashboard
Navigate to the Dashboard.
In the Filings Summary panel, click the number next to flag, and then select the filing.
Option 2: From Manage Filings
In an email notification of a flagged filing, click the link.
If you are not already logged into the Broker Portal, you may need to log in and then click the link again.
1. Open the Flagged Submission
Find and open the flagged submission using one of the above options.
The flag panel will be open, listing the fields that were flagged, along with any additional information proved by the SLA when they flagged the field.
Fields flagged by the system appear highlighted in yellow.
The Flag field in the page header shows how many fields were flagged.
2. Update and Resubmit the filing
Click Edit to make changes.
You can:
Edit the flagged fields
Update the Filer Notes field
Upload documents (whether or not flagged)
Update Filer Notes if appropriate.
Click Resubmit (or Save first, then Resubmit).
If flagged fields remain unchanged when you resubmit the filing, you’ll be prompted that not all flagged fields were updated. If you choose to continue without making changes to the field(s), you’ll have the option to enter an explanaation.
3. Certify and Complete
After resubmission, you’ll be prompted to Certify the filing.
The filing status updates to Resubmitted.
